Wondering what to do when you’re faced with a difficult business decision? Here’s some tips to help you out…
1. Write out the situation.
2. List all of your options.
3. Look at possible risks, costs, and the impact of each option. Also consider the benefits/gains for each. Then, you can make an informed decision.
What about when the emotional cost outweighs financial cost? Good question! If you’re saying, “It’s not about the money”, that’s A-Ok. But still write it all out so you know exactly what you’re saying yes or no to when you make that final decision. You’ll feel more confident and grounded not only in your decision, but the way you communicate it.
